Sunset Dinner Cruises
 

Relax and enjoy a magnificent Darwin sunset, a delicious Chef prepared banquet and seated dining comfort whilst cruising Darwin Harbour. 

Option 1: Aboard the schooner “Alfred Nobel” (seats 70 guests and carries 100 passengers for functions) a four course seated meal starting with fresh breads served with Australian olive oil, balsamic reduction and bush dukkha.  This is followed by a fresh chilled seafood platter of South Australian Oysters and chilled local Tiger Prawns served with local limes and seafood sauce.  We then fire up our BBQ and serve Wild Caught Barramundi fillets with an Asian inspired mango salsa, gourmet chicken skewers with a Malaysian Satay sauce and Prime Beef skewers with a Nim Jam glaze, all served with a choice of garden salads. The meal concludes with a light dessert platter to share of tropical fruit with a chocolate fondue dipping sauce. 2009 prices : $105 per person.

Option 2: Step aboard the Cape Adieu (carries 50 day passengers and accommodates 12 overnight for extended live aboard sole charter bookings during November and December.) and begin your cruise with a selection of homemade dips then indulge in a Chef prepared seafood and BBQ banquet featuring a seasonal selection of fresh wild caught Territory seafood including prawns, Gold Band Snapper, Red Emperor, Spanish Mackerel, Barramundi and King Thread Fin Salmon (dependant on daily catch). Succulent oysters, steaks and fresh salad selections are also served. Your cruise concludes with a delicious homemade dessert. Tea and coffee is also provided. Cape Adieu is fully licensed or guests may BYO. Special dietary requirements can be catered for on booking. All ice, eskies, drinking water and glassware provided.

Our Lunch Cruise offers a great day out on the harbour for those guests wanting to relax. Cruises depart from the Stokes Hill Wharf at 12.00pm returning at 3.00pm. Cruise includes a Barbeque lunch of wild caught barramundi and marinated chicken and beef skewers, fresh garden salads & a selection of freshly baked bread rolls, an informative commentary, and the opportunity for all to go swimming (weather/conditions permitting).

Enjoy a glass of sparkling wine and gourmet Territorian style tasting platters as you watch the sun set over Darwin harbour, a splendid site Territorians are proud to share. Commentary on Darwin's sites and points of interest is a feature of the cruise. This 2.5 hour cruise departs from the Stokes Hill Wharf 7 days a week at 5.15pm.

There is plenty of shaded seating on the open plan deck and the vessel boasts modern amenities to cater for every age of clientele. The ‘Tumlaren’ is rigged to sail and schedules and weather permitting, guests may have the opportunity to experience sailing.
